There’s a lot of discussion in the SEO industry as to just how valuable rank tracking will be moving forward due to the large number of ways that Google is personalising search results.

There’s a great white label solution that Authority Labs offer too which will be extremely useful if you run an agency or are an individual that’s managing clients because you can brand your account and offer logins for your clients.
Right now the only thing that I think is missing is automatic email reporting, however bouncing down a PDF is really straight forward and the ability to setup clients with accounts makes the lack of this feature not such a big deal in my eyes and I think sending personal reports, while taking more time is important for the client.

2. White Spark
While this is an extremely new tool, I think White Spark are bang on the money with this because this Rank Tracker is more than just the usual rank tracking tool because you can check rankings in Google organic search, Google places and even within the Google local pack (or the Bing local pack if you really want to) on a city to city basis.
Pricing; starting at $5/month for 10 location keywords up to $200/month for 2,500 location keywords.

Analytics SEO is much more than just a rank tracking tool, it’s feature set is insane so there is a possibility that if you’re just looking for a straight forward rank tracking tool that this will be too much for you.

SEO Moz, similar to Analytics SEO offers an extremely comprehensive SEO toolset allowing you to track keywords on a weekly basis across multiple search engines and locale’s but what I especially like about SEO Moz is the ability to just jump in to competitive analysis right from your rank tracking.
Some of the other features you’ll get access to include On-Page analysis, crawl testing to discover technical SEO related issues, link analysis using the Open Site Explorer, Followerwonk (great for finding influencers on Twitter) and much more.

This is a tool that I haven’t seen mentioned all too often (at least not yet anyway) but I felt it deserved a mention due to the fact that this tool is easy to use and offers some great local rank monitoring features.
